Check individual circumstances

If you have photosensitivity, epilepsy, are pregnant, have a medical condition or use treatments that may affect light sensitivity, seek medical advice before using an LED device. Tell the professional about your medicines and skincare products. An advert without a warning is not evidence of suitability.

Follow eye-protection instructions

Follow the eye-protection requirements in the exact model’s instructions. Closing your eyes does not replace required protection. Sunglasses, under-eye patches or unverified eye shields are not substitutes. Do not look directly at the LEDs.

Know when to stop

Do not use a damaged or wet device. Stop if you notice discomfort, unusual heat or a skin reaction, and seek advice where necessary. Do not extend sessions beyond the instructions, and keep the device out of children’s reach.
